Employed Healthcare Workers

ATOSK Healthcare Services, Inc. was originally located in Parkville for about four years (starting on July 28, 2005) where we earned a Best of Parkville award for In-Home Health Services. Shortly thereafter, having expanded and improved our practice, we relocated to the Towson area on June 11, 2009.

At ATOSK, we are constantly looking for skilled, compassionate, caring, and dependable caregivers who can make a difference in the provision of in-home care and outpatient treatment therapy.

Mental Health Professionals

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC)
  • Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Professional (CPRP)

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Must pass National Counselors Exam to be licensed.
  2. Must have a master’s degree in Mental Health, or Social Work.
  3. Must have satisfied the Cardiopulmonary resuscitation [CPR] and Basic First Aid requirements.
  4. Must have excellent organizational, managerial & communication skills.
  5. Shall be available to give instructions and answer questions during a normal working day on medically related issues within the scope of the nurse’s license.
  6. Must be able to maintain detailed, written documentation of services rendered.

Caregivers

Healthcare Services

  • Registered Nurse – RN
  • Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA
  • Geriatric Nursing Assistant – GNA
  • Certified Medication Assistant/Technician – CMA/CMT

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Must be at least 18 years old;

  2. Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow directions in English;

  3. Must have experience in caring for the population to be served.

  4. May not be cited on the Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistants Registry or any other registries with a determination of abuse, misappropriation of resident property, or neglect.

  5. Must be currently certified by an organization by the Maryland Board of Nursing in the following areas: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic First Aid.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

For all new and existing employees:

You must satisfy the following health requirements:

  • Annual TB testing – submit a recent copy of TB results.

  • Offering of the Hepatitis B vaccine (signed letter of acceptance/ declination must be kept on file).

  • Have Annual Physicals done within the first 3 months of employment.

  • Free from communicable diseases.

  • Be well groomed and presentable.

Must submit to a background investigation for which the agency, or applicant shall:

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Submit an application for a criminal history record check to the Criminal Justice Information System, Department of Safety and Correctional Service Offices.
  • Direct the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services to send the criminal history report to the department, and pay for the criminal history record check and report.
  • May not have been convicted of, received a probation before judgment for, or entered into a plea of nolo contend ere to a felony or any crime involving moral turpitude or theft, or have any other criminal history that indicates behavior which is potentially harmful to patients.
